Sea Eagle Mocks This Broken Heart




Watching the tempest waves of a lonely sea
tears cascading down my face
wanting to flee from pain's place
why I allowed you and me to become 'we'?

A lone sea eagle cries out in mock
solo wolf glares with unsympathetic eyes
why you broke my heart with evil goodbyes
will this pain ever, EVER stop?

Dusk sets on me still crying
broken, nay shattered and lost
my whole heart love's cost
I just feel like dying

I hope someday to love once again
recapture lost innocence from way back when.
