Tibet is our issue... India is our soulmate...

Fact is something that is immortal and there is no adjustments within it. But i am in the hard line of no way. I am more of Indian despite my birth into a household of Tibetans. But the fact is that i have been living all the years of my life mostly in India only! If law be taken into consideration, my nationality could be taken india because i lived an Indian in me and not a Tibetan! Yet there is a huge confusion because i feel responsible for this Tibet issue and India stands only as a soulmate for me. There is a very familiar pain in me when Tibetans are brutally crushed with injustice.
The truth is that i can never stop being a Tibetan and India can never be my nationality because i am a refugee in india and not
an immigrant. I know Tibetans never had the will to leave Tibet but it was something of a gigantic fall that couldn't be controlled. But we are good fated to having such a generous neighbour India, who provided us all the needs and rights for re-establishing an new liberal Tibet.
The fleeing of Tibetans started in 1959 and it had been pouring on till 2007 that amounted to about one lakh of Tibetans in India. Many of the ones were mostly children in search of a meaning full education. In order to meet the needs of us Tibetans, they helped us in building seperate schools for Tibetans in various parts of India supporting our aim of preserving our own culture. Today, there are about 80 Tibetan schools across India providing education to Tibetan children in both modern and traditionals at a very minimal fee and at times free of cost! Besides, they provided lands to Tibetans for forming unique Tibetan
settlements to support their livelihood.
After all, when we lost our country, we were sad, hurt and poor but our impoverished world glared up in high will to stand up when India came in our-way. They taught us that the sadness had no base, the hurt had a mistake of our own and that poor could be raised. They gave us a home when we were not able to defend our own. Thank you India. You are our soulmate.
