twining, twisting
Are they bars on paper,
or tightened strings of heart?
For some reason
those sweet notes tapped,
caressed, loved
Like raindrops, bring me to
the present
Sweet, sweet misery
as my soul claps its hands
they are also wrung
Drips, taps of the hammers
hit upon my idle wishes
