Sometimes we feel something..albeit small,for someone.And as much as we would like to follow it up and find out if it can mature into something more wonderful,our committment to the present love prevents us.Hence we are forced to love from afar.


I CANNOT

What i feel for her
I cannot explain
But i feel with enough watering
it can grow
and blossom
possibly into love

But my sprout
can water
but only one plant
I cannot be unfair to the other
for i love her immensly
and i loved her first

Tis a longing that
I cannot exploit
Tis a thirst that
I cannot quench
Tis a desire that
I cannot follow

For if I go for her
then soon
I will go for another
for the single sprout
will get used to watering
many plants

I have to be faithful
I cannot
follow this feeling.
