It feels like it did then
my bouncing heart
distracts me from breathing
and my hands are shaking

It feels like I've met you
just a few months ago
but it's been over three years
and my heart is longing

though I barely can remember
but my racing blood
distracts me from thinking
and my eyes are rolling

It feels like it did then
only slightly more maniacally so
