Trying to show

I wanna sing you a song
to soothe your soul
but the words are missing

I can't figure out
what I want to say

I wanna play you a tune
to calm your nerves
but the chords are gone

I don't have a clue
what I want to play

I wanna read you a poem
to share your heart
but my mouth is closed

I can't get it right
what I want to say
