My collection of poems I wrote between December of 2007 and August of 2008 has now been published, and is available on-line. Its title is "Whiskey, Whimsey, & Rhymes," and you can preview it and/or buy it at AuthorHouse.com for $9.95 US, or at amazon.com.

Back Lash

Rarities and scarities,
our old school-book approach,
you pass down bad Modernity
to us so far below;
we're still searching, hoping wholly,
for the Holy Ghost,
so shun us from your toasts.

For the future has already passed,
and the past will pass again;
keep writing like a quarter-ass,
and sell it to your friends.

For what's far better to me
than esoteric complexity,
is a simple peasant poem
that I can hear and see.

"Are you still not smart enough?
Are you not yet educated?
Sorry, but your silly butt
is uninitiated!"

Most of the ripe cheese-balls
collecting royalties
aren't worth the snotty sneeze-balls
of their faux pas poetry.

So, excuse me while I rhyme,
as I still find rhymes sublime
and eternally Divine.
