Writing this just because


Wanting You Wanting Me

As I lay alone at night, looking at the stars so bright
Praying for a day to say that I am over all the pain
So that I can kiss the rain, and live my life to the end
You have been a Gods send to me

Praying you would return to me, loving me the way I love you
I wish you would see me for me, and let our love be
But I see the pain in your eyes, I have to realize the love is not completely for me

I pray one day you will look into my eyes, and see that God has cleared the skies
I pray that when that day comes, you will see that you were wanting me as much as i want you, and needing me as much as I need you

I want to feel your arms around me and taste your soft lips
But sometimes I feel like you will not even give me a second glimpse
From the moment that we met, I knew that my life would be set
I would even make a bet if I have to

I want us to watch the sunset and kiss the rain all night together
I want us to be with each other but I see that it will never be for me
Laying in this bed at night,
Wanting you wanting me
