Dear God,
This is me, Kathy
You know the one who slips and slides
up and down the goodness meter.
I believe in you, know your Son,
Feel your Spirit,
But I still just can't reach it.
Reach what my child?
The top Lord.
What would you do at the top?
Hold on.
Just be yourself and I'll hold on to you.
So, I can let go and be free?
Yes, dear one. Now let go!
Catch me or I'll fall.
No, Kathy you will fly
For I have already fallen for you.
I have taken the blame and fell
to the bottom.
Down the goodness meter!
How can that be? You are God...
With God, all things are possible?
That's it! You understand.
Now, take my hand and let's fly together.
Thank you God for saving me from myself--
and my own self imposed restrictions.
Trust in me and we will soar through eternity.
Yes, Lord. Yes!
