Just You

the earth isn't touched by your prettiness
I'm not grounded in the wake of your charm
the skies don't shine when you're brilliant
nor is there solace to be found in your arms

just show me your vulnerability
and with it please don't try to defend
for these flaws are all that could take me
to that place where love never ends

I like the way you express this. I believe that sight is often blinded by mental illusion obsessed in superficiality but humbly awakes to the reality of that which is painfully flawed. But I think it is even sadder when people lie to themselves and others about their true feelings concerning "love". The structure and rhyme is well done with precise articulation that is not overdone.
