Born at the New Moon,
my moody conjunction.
What planet does your sun
connect to most closely?
In my case, a luminary,
a light, the lesser one.
Why do we still stand in the shadows
allowing men to eclipse us,
the fairer sex?
Internally, always in the dark,
watching others shine.
Someday soon I'll let my candle
illuminate the darkness.
If I could only find
a match.
