a scandinavian proverb lets brother fox say that the rowan-berries , out of his reach, are too sour anyway..


Mountain Ash




If abstaining from

immediate gratification

for long range benefits

is a sign of maturity


then surely

the insight

that things out of reach

aren't worth it anyway

is pure wisdom?



Or is that a coward's

poor excuse

for not really trying?
