sad.

Winter's Eventual Thaw

It's hard not to change
into who other people want you to be
but it's harder to conceal the anger
because they won't let your spirit be free.

Sick of them conscently critising you
because of the person you are,
shoved to the edge of dark cliffs
a voice says ''Jump, the bottom's not down that far''.

trying to ignore the voice
knowing it's not "logical'' reason,
but it's harder to want to stay
when the world's trapped in a frozen winter season.

..."Should I jump and end it all

..or stay and wait for winter's eventual thaw?"

Wait, definitely wait till the thaw.

Also ignore what over people say. All it represents is their way of coping with their own emotional conflicts and fears. Critising somebody else helps their own limping egos along. So ignore um! and live your life how yuh wanna.

A good write that sums up this part of human nature well and a ((smile)) to brighten your sadness
