For You

For you, who were forgotten,
Cast out without a thought,
Brief breaths are meaningless
In a truth that's not confessed.

Let us hide behind the drapes,
Rape a picturesque scene,
You have been dismissed'
Disgraced, sent from the room.

Just a gentle swell you were
A flicker in the well of love
And even as the tears swell,
These memories we cannot dwell.

For you, who were forgotten
In a grave left unattended,
Forgive those who do neglect
You are my transcendental love

I could no more breathe,
In a image of a memory
Love expressed, set apart
I see you hale and hearty

Your beauty is a filigree
More intricate than ancient lace
Our fingers once interlaced,
Disgraced in paltry lie.

For you, who were forgotten
I hold you in the ghostly arms
I keep you safe from harm
God bless from me to you.
