WHY SHE CRIED

On the day of her husband's funeral ,

She cried ,

The mourners , were rather surprised ,

Had she not said how crawl , nasty , often ,

Violent , beet her black and blue ,

She to me explained she cried ,

As she regretted he'd not died much earlier ,

She cried at the love she'd never had ,

Denied her by THAT MAN , so called man ,

That is ,

She'd spent her childhood in a orphanage ,

As much love with in , as in a chicken battery ,

No love from those who say they love a God ,

Offend punished fore nothing at all ,

Hit , batted fore standing up fore her self ,

Did not meet her sister till late in her life ,

Kept apart by professional so called carers ,

She met the so called man ,

He made promises he'd love her true ,

He lied and lied to her daily , year on year he lied ,

He was no better gave or no love at all ,

He gave her the love that the orphanage ''gave'' her ,

She cried he'd not died before she'd met him ,

She tried to talk about her life ,

Only to be told '' cheer up all behind you now '' ,

In kindness said it has to be said ,

Pity , she had so much to say ,

To share with others ,

So I ask you all to just listen , be a true freind ,

Especially my fellow men ,

I often , think of her , tears not far away

A sorry tale that unfortunately many can identify with, I did wonder from the opening lines what I was going to read as the first 3 lines had a touch of humour about them.
