THE WAGE SLAVE

He went ,

He put on ,

The chains ,

Of a wage ,

Slave ,

A day ,

A week of ,

Whipped ,

Wards so crawl ,

Abuse dished out ,

By the boss ,

Why?

'Cos he could ,

His eyes looked only down ,

At the ground ,

No reason to look up ,

His face shows the marks ,

Of each lash of his day ,

His week ,

His life ,

He finished ,

His day ,

His week of ,

Waged work ,

Slavery ,

He took off ,

The chains ,

Rube his wrists ,

But knowing ,

That come the next ,

Week , it he will be ,

Back in chains ,

Of his wage slavery ,

That were rore ,

To his house he trudged ,

To shut out the world ,
