..Once in a while one is caught up in the flow

Waves

 I see it
squarely

in the eye

Nothing is

square

outside of us

our quest
for symmetry
is a ruse
to offset
our lopsided
inner being

 I am struck
by the crystalline regularity
by the grammatic perfection
on atomic levels
molecular precision

 but the summary of all
is not squares
but ondulating flows
irregular quirks
patterns eccentric

 harmony is
imperfections in flow
irregularities in rythm

I am not on the crest
of any wave
I am a particle
of one

 when I go with
the flow
I cease being a square peg
trying to force
a round hole
to my shape

 I become one
for once
part and parcel
of the pulse
beating
universally

not mindless nirvana
wide awake presence

this has a great flow like the ebb of a tide.

I like the meaning in these words

I guess 'the flow' is much like a bus. We get on and off when and where it serves.
Fine writing Teddy.
Thanks.
