The root of guilt

"Everything

just as it is,

as it is,

as is

Flowers in bloom.

Nothing to add."

Robert Aitken Roshi

The root of guilt, regret and suffering

is the belief that

"It could have happened differently"

Whatever will happen, will happen

whatever has happened

could not have happened any other way.

If this is deeply understood

 peace will enter your heart.

Thanks for sharing this with us
Nicely written and voiced.

I am a child of Karma
A believer in Yang and yin
For every grief that befalls us
Something else will make us grin
Everything has a reason
and what will be will be
To understand this equation
We must set our own mind free.

I like the meaning in this,
very deep, yet easy to understand
