No words are good enough

to fully explain what it means,

or fully portray the bubble’s

depth that two in love live in.

It’s in a look,

in a gesture

even a smile

or quiet minutes.

It’s also in the appreciations

of the day-to-day little things,

little attentions that bring joy,

and the way of a gentle touch.

When warmth, affection

and equal adoration

unite to form a close bond,

it’s a different kind of whole.

Once, their lives

were complete méli-mélos

with missing or scattered pieces;

some in very dusty corners.

But turned out it was not to be:

them, remaining as the condemned,

‘cause surprise paths intersected theirs

alighting the beauty factor of breathing.

Inevitably, some had tried

to cast a glance of suspicion

on their special chance

to have met so well –  

so far apart, so quickly,

and also, all so very naturally,

but ignoring or denying precious when

it’s gifted to you is just impossible to do.

So, they figured out very early

that nothing more’d be the same.

What was found on that day

was to never be replaced thereon.

And the years keep it growing,

and they’re still loving as tenderly.

Soon their vows they’ll exchange

‘cause they know it’s their forever.

Nothing else feels : as right

or as good as how they’re feeling

when they share their company;

Or as sore when they’re apart.

His eyes on her.

Her eyes on him.

Smiles ear-to-ear:

Mr. & Mrs. C.

They promise to cradle

each other’s heart

with love and gentleness

like then and for the future.
