NOW AND ROUND THE CORNER COMES

Now and round the corner comes
Spring
to give new power to our wings
sagging on the ground
feathers oily
not permitting more than
running round and round
tired to our bones

Now and round the corner comes
Spring
the sun and every little thing
waking every nerve
blurry vision
slowly turnes to focus
hurts when meet the curve
of Beautiful bygones

Now and round the corner comes
Spring
how can it ever change a thing
escaping this abyss
soul incisions
mindless depths of nothingness
Blackbird fields the final bliss
sing me summer songs

This peice of literature is the first of yours I have read - and althought it is a masterpeice on its own - it compells me to applaud you and read some more of your poetry. You have a very unique way with words. "Beautiful bygones" is a phrase I think that many will stop at - and indulge within your story and within their thoughts. Keep writing.

Regards,
John.
