FOR THOSE WAITING FORE THE SPRING

Waiting fore the spring ,

While the winter holds ,

Many in it's cold embrace ,

The spring will come,

Worm embrace of spring ,

Will hold you close ,

Smiles from the spring sun ,

Will cheer up all that wait ,

Short shorts , short skirts ,

Short sleeved tops ,

Will be worn ,

As the days grow longer ,

A sure sign of spring arrived ,

Hold your impatience , spring ,

Will be with us soon

Spring is the time for the spring in our step. :)

I enjoy reading your poetry, Ken.

I have the crocuses and the daffs, just need a little more patience for sun and warmth, enjoyed this.

In Quebec, winter does embrace. It holds us in a headlock :-)
Two weeks and there'll be crocuses.
Have a happy spring Ken.

Despite our impatience the daffs are pushing ever upward. In all my many years I cannot recall a year in which spring failed to arrive. I'm with you on this, be patient.
