Thinking of you, wherever you are. Despite what I might think, your smile still drives me crazy and inspires me to write, the same way it did in the beginning.

Shift in colour

Something is missing

I wonder who took

or where it went

is it going to come back?

I know because I feel the difference

it was something important

because if it was not

I would not have taken notice

Before I had you, but for now you're gone

The colour you injected into my life

has faded back to greyscale

back to normal I guess

But I do not want normal

I want to be more than normal

more than ok, more than fine

I want you back

but you need time

time to think it over

cause if you're not comfortable

then whats the point?

Maybe you're not the colours I need

Probably I'm not the colours you need

so in a sense maybe its better this way

but all the same, I miss you.

But that should not make a difference

You go and get your thinking over and done with

take your time, I'll hold out

because when you're in love, it's worth the wait.

You say it how it is - and I really respect that. An absense of your passion can still strive the inspiration inside of you. We learn from love, and grow in other ways. You have talent, I really enjoyed reading this. Thankyou. Keep writing, Simon.

Regards,
John.
