I SET SAIL

I set sail too to see the sea ,

All I did sea was the sea ,

The sea I saw , looked so green ,

As green as my gill's

Other times blue , too match my mood's ,

The sea I saw , showed too me of wear it all ,

Began ,

The sound of the sea seeded in me idea's ,

Of story's , poetry , of the past , of the coming ,

Morrow , and of course the now ,

Oh the sea , the sea ,

Bells, bells, those brazen bells...!
Pardon the paraphrase. I just got carried away with the throng and movement of your poem.

"The sound of the sea seeded in me ideas" . . . not that's poetry, as is the ebb and flow of the sea in the ebb and flow of time - "of the coming, the morrow, and of course the now".
Beautifully conceived poem.

I enjoyed this one, Ken. It didn't make me see-sea sick at all.

I love the sea and it is all these things and more and it is an inspiration as you have demonstrated.
