must be proven
earnt
not promised, wished and hoped
Don't apologize
don't even try to make an excuse
don't utter another word of explanation
I've heard it a thousand times before
from every man that was meant to be there for me
Enough of my nights and days have been spent awake
hoping, dreaming, wishing
Enough of my tears have been wept for the damage left behind
crushing, wrenching, murdering pain
For this I will
cry
no more
