Thoughts on a momentary scene watched as an uninvolved bystander

Bully

Thinning hair worn in long disarray
large gut extending arrogantly
A belt buckle that has not seen
Sunlight in years
A blazer dirty and worm too small
Wrinkled shirt open at the first three buttons
Staining at the other three
Voice loud and strident
The past commodore
Striding the halls like a school yard bully
Demanding respect
The members silent not cowed
Knowing that a well placed challenge
Would shatter him
With terminal consequences
So he continues on the silent charity of others
In search of respect where none is warranted
and gathering instead unknowingly
Disgust and shame

This is a very pertinent observation. I meet more and more of him as time goes by. I do not understand the condition but am truly sorry for the guy. Thank you Josephus.

But there is a story underneath his appearance, one we can't see and sadly usually don't want to know. You describe the outer an vividly and leave us to write his story.
