The Divide

Dragging on,
to the day's end.
Going over,
in my head,
the countdown of,
my heart's desire.
Over oceans past,
and fortunes to gain,
hoping for my love,
in my arms alone.
The kiss,
longest taste,
begging for more,
then waking from,
the cruellest dream.

Heavenly voice,
in a dark,
never forgotten.
For pleasure known,
for pain promised,
striving for her,
with eyes aflame.
Breathing for her,
the Goddess of my heart.
Touching the blackness,
in hope of,
her tender skin.
Brought through the smile,
caught by her scent,
waiting for the end,
of this life alone.
