Accompaniment

The afternoon dark, dreary and raining,

And one of life's happy happenstances -

From the radio falls the flowing movement

After movement of Handel's Water Music,

The lentement ending, bourree beginning.

Just at the edge of as far as I can see

A willow is reaching out to power lines -

Handel's hand hovering above the staff,

And now his quill spilling across the page

The dark drops of notes, the bright arpeggio.

Lawrence Beck The PoetBay support member heart!
Again, an extremely clever poem, and I mean that as a compliment.

I was a sleep on the sofer , and a progame had just started , callde ' The War At Sea '' . The mousic was '' Ride Of The Volcures ''. The operning of the progame was ships rideing the sea of the Atlantik , yes I was overcome by sea sickness!
