My heart turns me over
stops dead in my chest

whispering and beating in my ear

I gasp for air as my thoughts wander from one conclusion to the next
my eyes too tired to sleep
a sour, bitter taste in my mouth

This pain I know
I've been here before

You're everything I ever wanted

but don't argue
don't try to reason with me
don't talk me into this

there are no reasons

only clear truths
I say no
