Silent scream


Thoughts slipping
sliding away
drowning
every yesterday
the sun is shining
but i feel no warmth
and i do not understand
the rainbow teases me
in the cool crystal rain
yet the outcome known
it is always - the same
i see only blue
no matter how hard i stare
all the other colours
lost in the glare
of a colour so dark
i just do not understand
and so it wanders in
chainsaw in its hand
cutting every artery
bleeding every dream
there are no rainbows here
just - a silent scream.

This one has been here for a while, so late to the party I know. I love the concept behind " Silent Scream ". I do not think I could ever get as many images as you have but I can hope to sometime right. Great poem.

Silent screams never heard,
Accumulate in the dark, the
Blue overshadows the colours
Sunshine offers, peep into the dark,
Hark! See the light emerging in the horizon,
Dispelling the dark...
