HOT POTATOS HOT CHEST NUTS

In times long time past ,

Street hawkers sold hot,

Potatoes , taters in jackets ,

Hot chest nuts from briers ,

I recall a man pushing his bicycle ,

Calling out '' chest nuts '' '' hot chest nuts '' ,

'' Get your hot chest nuts hear!! '' ,

Now of distant memory ,

Are now the modern age , my eye!
