Sailing On Blue Waters

Casting a sail,
opening to blue
with white surf upon the bow;
without a care
as the blowing breeze
touches my skin
and lifts my heart
toward the homeward voyage.

Silver light appears
on approaching waters
that are tasting the light,
its warmth and breadth.

Just sail boat
carried on the blue waters
of faith,
of time,
opening a sail
to aid this voyage
home—to a destination unknown,
but known
to the spirit.
