Cliche`s

"Be that as it may"

An over-used cliché

If "I had my druthers"

It would be gone, along with others

"Live and learn"

Another one to over-turn

"Life is hard"

Never used by Will, The Bard

"Shit happens", kinda rude-ish

Particularly if your kinda prudish

"Far be it for me" to go on this way

I've had "more than enough" clichés this day

"Funnily enough" Stan, I was having a conversation with my brother today about this very subject! We agreed that people today speak using "the simplified code," in that we use well known phrases and "cliches," rather than delve into our brains for something original. Brilliant little write..(please excuse the cliche!)
