Dominoes and Cameos
Blocks of dominoes stacked like streets in rows
Hearing windows close, close at hand to mouth
Dreaming diagrams of times and places pause
To reminisce the ideal of a kiss, withdrawn
Promises were made, only mortal hearts so frail
And wanly dear, just a wishful thought
All the Love in the world, has been sought,
Locks and cameos, dreams only Night knows...
