dripping slowly into a glowing pool of red
In this light
those drops always looked so blue
The mixture veining its way into my heart
nearly lethal
Now the lights are off
and I can breathe
better
with you near
Drops of another colour I cannot sense yet
blending into my veins
I drink you up
