ancient tribal symbols
big man with a long board,beach side days
and the rhythm of the ocean
my head is full
of the inner meanings
of ancient tribal symbols
cave man drawings,
the ancient cultural remains
of mesopotamia,
egyptian hieroglyphs,
greek and roman
philosophical writings -
all combined
in the modern man of letters
there is something sacred
within existence, nature -
throughout history
in all the multitude
of cultural manifestations,
we have reached beyond
to an infinite, an absolute,
a holy one -
a man, a god, a son of a god,
a teacher, a guru - something!
my head is filled
