This poem is dedicated to you my friend.
I hope you'll read it, when I send it.
I spend hours writing this thing,
I hope you find something,
To forgive me
For what I done,
I never meant it to go that far,
It was a mistake, that even myself I can't forgive,
I am waiting for you to take the first step,
Because I'm worried I'll make a fool of myself.
I think it's easy to say I'm sorry,
But not easy to express what I feel,
For destroying the friendship we had,
And erase the memories we made.
To be honest my intentions weren't wrong,
It just happened by accident,
That I find myself speaking without thinking first,
You are the best friend that, I never deserved.
I know, only time can mend the pain that I caused you,
And maybe rebuild our friendship through time.
Because today I found myself a little joy,
And I wanted to share it with someone,
Someone special,
And I realized that, that someone was gone
That I was wrong.
I hope this poem gives you an idea of how I feel,
For betraying you and deceiving you.
If I could turn back time,
And stop the moment I betrayed you,
I would do it right now,
But I can't and the fact that I lost you as a good friend,
Has pained me all these days, I'm not sure if I should send this to you.
But if I do, you should know how sorry I am,
And maybe we could even start over again.
