Ode To Dreams

Sleep In A Nest Of Dreams

There once was a bird that flew
Through bright fields of sun and dew
In mornings too wonderful to name
On flashing wings spread to heavens flame
Litten trees as the sunset threw

Violet shadows o'er castellated trees
Whilst the evening cooed soliloquies
lullaby rhymes from forest streams
Made her bed in a nest of dreams
Wherein she wing'd those deep eternal seas.

A dreamy piece, my friend :>)
I like the imagery very much, the 'bright fields', 'flashing wings', 'castellated trees', merged skilfully with a hint of music. A picture forms in my mind, intriguing...
Applause!
