Learning
You teach me crazinessto move as fast as I want to
and to listen to my heart singing her crazy tones
You teach me patience
to let my mind have her space and wait for her to
take her solid steps toward loving you
You teach me silence
to allow room for our actions to say everything
that words would make cheap or solid
You teach me joy
to let the moment I am in seep through my being and to laugh
in amazement over the beauty that surrounds us
You teach me
that love is greater than I ever knew

you teach me to love
