steps

i climbed stairs in darkness
to reach you, to meet you,
smiling with light in my eyes...

i climbed stairs in darkness,
i had light in me ...

climbing the stairs in light
i reached you, i met you,
i have light in my dark eyes ...

we are climbing stairs in light now...
