Fallen donkey

The mind grasping for truth

is helplessly lost

like a fallen donkey on a muddy trail

stumbling over empty words it will surely fail

The proof of seeing is seeing itself

Aware and alive

is the glowing knowing

of the present flame

beyond any name

Being

is

laughing in full bloom

DreamLord of Pipelakecity
Yes, that is the question: if we can find the truth trough our mind... Or if we - as you point out - have lost our bearings totally by trusting the faculty of reason. It seems to me, when I look at the present state of the wor(l)d, that it is like that.
And I really like the end of your poem: the all embracing laughter.
They made me think of the following words (that I also like very much) from a scripture: "Gods wagon consists of ten thousands laughters."
In which part of the world do your write your poems?
