The Point

Somehow in the world

There are always a powerful few

Who claim to represent the rest

But it is always those few

That end up telling the rest

what they may and may not do

rather make that what to do

how much they can keep

and how much they have to give

to the few who run the show

anyone who refuses to agree with

and act as the few determine is legal

are to be dealt with according to

whatever words the few say

but all the words in the world

will never soften the point of a sword.
