A cold hearted place


There is a war started on Swedish soil
between socialists and rightwing extremists

many rightwing fellows are making their statements
in many different places, and ways


We have them in parlament,
we have them at regional basis

they are to be found and heard
at workplaces, and on trains


The Swedish people are mostly socialdemocrats
and like to live in peace
they pay their taxes, and commute

As the rightwing, in swedish politics
are gathering strenght,
dumbing down the hole spektra
of honest coment

it is difficult in Sweden today.

It is a long, cold winter in political Sweden,
many that have lost during the strife in ours
financial decline
are trying to point their way
out of the worst,
by becoming worse
as to letting the weekest take the punch
in the stomach


It is a long and cold winter still here
with politicos playing out us
against them

So many values lost on the way

into becoming
a cold hearted
place

Hello Ivan. This is well written with the ability to hold one's attention start to finish. I very well understand all you've expressed and it is pretty much the same all over the planet; a few spots haven't fallen into such illness of the heart and mind of society. Man must consider that there is a higher power other than politics and deals behind closed doors that are not for the wellbeing of mankind. I've hand the experience of standing high on a mountain and while looking down came to realize just how minute we as a race of people truly are; like slow moving dots on a checkerboard it seemed. I've often wondered how we can vote politicians into office and they make rules to set themselves apart from the folks that voted then in office; hummmmmmmm.
An eye opener to the reality of what is going on in every corner of the world. Great work!

The same thing is happening in the United States--quickly turning into 'us versus them' instead of 'we're all in this together.' It appears that financial decline usually leads to this discontent--money and possessions to fill the void in our hearts. I'm with you: Peace, tolerance, and compromise are vital to prevent not only Sweden and the U.S. from turning into cold hearted places.
