Absent Friends
Too much love left unspoken,So many dreams never pursued,
So many years passed by too fast...
Here it all feels so wasted,
Here it all seems so pointless.
And all the forgotten songs I memorised
And all the pointless lessons I never learned
Prove themselves to be a waste of time
No one really cares in the end
Late night tears for absent friends..
and long lost loves left behind
I know they'll forgive me
long before I will
Smeared in the blood of the past
Standing brutally naked to the world
I've stripped myself of all pride
Left all chances of salvation behind
And I cant remember the reason to care.
