Rompre

You have become what I know as love.
when I think of what love is
I think of you.
An idea of an idea of you
has gripped my soul,
you can no longer get to me.

I seek the silent, still-middle on the pendulum
between black and invisible.
Forget thousands of thoughts
keeping faint fantasies alive,
my belief in the 'power of act'
led me to falling asleep holding my own hand.

Very much enjoyed the way this is written. The lines that stood out for me are :

"An idea of an idea of you"

and

"I seek the silent, still-middle on the pendulum
between black and invisible."

and

"led me to falling asleep holding my own hand."

They say and capture so much for the imagination. So good.
