An old, old, old poem i thought lost forever

C'mon Jonny

C'mon Jonny,
Hurry on home;
The icecaps are melting
And the pollen count's high.

C'mon Jonny,
There's nuclear debris
In your ice cream
And your supper's getting cold.

C'mon Jonny,
Hurry on home;
Town's on curfew 'n account
Of the rolling blackouts.

C'mon Jonny,
There's carcinogens in the rain
And there's church in the mornin'.
Lay out your pants and shoes.

C'mon Jonny,
Hurry on home.

The world loses boys like you.
