Vernal Equinox (Triolet)

Long shadows o'er land is cast
as autumn sheds her floozy breath.
Spring and summer now gone past
long shadows o'er land is cast
as time speeds ere so fast,
a short span met by death.
Long shadows o'er land is cast
as autumn sheds her floozy breath

My heart is torn as tears cascade
a vernal equinoxes strangest tug.
Night is yet another faded shade
my heart is torn as tears cascade
with burdens heavy, so overlaid,
narrow shoulders stoop in shrug
my heart torn as tears cascade
a vernal equinoxes strangest tug.

This is nice, Elle. It's hard to say anything meaningful when you're hewing to such a restrictive form, but you've done it.

This is such a lovely fluid form beautifully penned, it seems it's a time for thinking, possibly too much.
