Still Waters.

Still waters run deep or so they say
A life that wanders day by day
To seek a form to give direction
A past now gone beyond correction

A future masked by mists of time
Reverberate in thoughts of rhyme
Of deeds now done and in the past
Embrace that which you hope will last

An altered being a change in life
Freedom from the stress and strife
Tease the soul enwrapped in sorrow
Beguiling that which comes tomorrow.

There is much to be thought on within this piece. A pleasure to read and so very smooth. Nicely done. ~Pam

your reflections are so open, so honest. I sympathize with your loss and pray comfort surrounds you. You have a gift of expression in poetry. Thank God you use it especially to help through the this grieving process. I am deeply moved. Kathy

It is good to come here and see you on the page again Graham. This is just one example of why I love reading your work. Always on the mark, a joy to read no matter.

Loss and life....and we ponder our very existence, as we are forced to accept the changes the life brings everyday...i feel your pain in this write Graham.
