Cite me, judge this & that

I
think I like being taken out of context
It is the most naked, honest moment
When "I" (no need to explain further)
When "I" bring something out of you.
But what becomes of You when you
bring out a part of "me" & you?

. . . and how about when You refuse to
put "me" into words? Your judgment and
I then become a part of the "heavy" silence
inside you. Is it my fault then?

"You"  will never be wrong
when you take me out of context
You "just" broaden my horizon.
Thank you.

The way you structure the various self-referential echoes essential to such complex insight, mirrors the difficult process of trying to divorce oneself from another's often unjustified misrepresentation.
Similar things have happened to me, as they do to everyone; then again, I too may be taking something out of context.
Well done.
An enviable masterpiece of subtlety

Ah, take me out of context, please! What a surprising declaration! Mindbending and sexy all at once!

Personally, I can't stand being taken out of context (and it happens so often that I almost feel it's better not to speak at all). Humans are, unfortunately, judgmental creatures, who seldom bother to get the whole story before jumping to conclusions. I think you make a great point here. The reaction doesn't say anything about you, because it is an inaccurate representation of you - but it does say something about the one doing the judging. This is a very empowering poem, and one from which we can all learn. Love it!
