Spiderweb Thoughts

With spiderweb thoughts tying anvil and stone
Asleep in a garden of light night dew, pillows of moss
Wearing a wardrobe sewn before Dawn
Write me in your dreams sometimes, come visit like a ghost
Confide inside oh where are you drawn
With only those eyes and the summer in your voice
Wrap up my soul in nuance and heavenly deeps
Cover my heart with a smile, pain is gone
Leave me go, are we playing for keeps
With spiderweb thoughts tying anvil and stone
Light a windmill upon my windowsill
Dreams of violets raining without end
Like light is through shining never bend
My soul is grieving you now always alone
With spiderweb thoughts tying anvil and stone

F.i.in.e Moods The PoetBay support member heart!
A dreamy quality to these words... especially liked these lines :

''Write me in your dreams sometimes, come visit like a ghost
With only those eyes and the summer in your voice''

couldn't tell you why exactly, but they carry me away... so very good...

Nabeela Altaf
I could imagine the illustrations that would go with this poem. Great work!
