Not Hide

How could you look like this and not hide
always have before you
peak a speak of inner verse intone
thought I saw you talking with the stone
has neither age nor name only substance and form
a sort of world to call home, sometimes lonely
people will not know what they say is so
you found me wandering far and wide
why would I look like this and not hide

Something comes across as sad in the choice of words in this one... also feels like a bit of a lonely place... I may be off-track in my impressions, but that's what comes to mind for me when I read this... got me thinking about someone I know too, who I haven't seen in many years... like where your words take me...
